Fun Street Band Looking for Amateur Musicians!!!

The GRIT CITY COMMUNITY STREET BAND is looking for more musician to join us and have fun spreading the joy of music to Tacoma and beyond! We formed in summer of 2021. We have a simple repertoire of old folk tunes, traditional brass band hits, pop covers and original songs. We are adding more fun tunes to our set list this year! We are looking for additional Woodwind, Brass and Percussion players regardless of playing abilities. Please use this as an opportunity to shake the dust off of old school instruments in your closet, or a chance to learn a new instrument. This is a family friendly band and ALL are welcome to join! We practice outdoors each week on Wednesdays. 5:30-6:30. So far we have performed at a few small parades around Tacoma during the holiday season and we are looking to play many more gigs in 2022.
