The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is hiring a Materials Engineering Technician in our Lamar location. This position assists with testing materials and inspection the construction of transportation projects. The work includes running standard tests, measurements, or quantitative analyses on samples; operating equipment or instruments as instructed; recording and comparing results with established standards or specifications; collecting field data or samples; and recording information on tests, samples, or activities. There is one position that will be filled at either the Engr/Physical Sciences Asst III or Engr/Physical Sciences Tech I level.
