Hello! I am a young man relocating to the Denver area with my two beloved horses. The pandemic hit me fairly hard which is forcing me to move in with family in Littleton while I get back on my feet. Unfortunately, horse boarding in the Littleton area looks quite expensive and includes many amenities, such as stalls and manicured arenas, that I do not need. I am looking for a simple pasture boarding situation for my two horses (a gelding and a mare, both very quiet and easygoing with no vices) in the Littleton or greater Denver area. All that I require is safe pasture fencing, basic shelter such as a windbreak, constant access to clean water, and storage for hay. We could possibly work out a deal in which you feed one meal and I feed the other, but I can also do full care if you are close enough to me. I am accustomed to farm work and can assist you on your property or in caring for your animals (or riding lessons if you have your own horses) in return for reduced or negated board. I can provide a negative Coggins test, vaccine records, and references attesting to my character and ability to take diligent care of my animals. This might be a nice situation for you if you are: -an older couple who no longer has horses but enjoys seeing them in their yard without the labor or expense involved -a little overwhelmed with your farm and would like a hand with animal care or property maintenance -a young family with kids who love horses but don't have the budget to keep them yourself -somebody who would like a calm and experienced trail riding partner :) This aspect of moving has been tremendously stressful so any leads are appreciated. I just want my horses to have a safe place to land! Thank you!
