Established Grateful Dead band seeking Bassist

Keys, Drums and two guitarists seeking bass to complete group. Currently practicing at least 1x week (acoustic or electric at paid space) and gigging once a month, playing at YHM, So Many Roads, and similar venues. All laid-back professionals in early 30’s with pro gear, transportation and we want to find someone with similar goals and values - prioritizing chemistry and finding a great fit. Hope you agree! Our current bassist is leaving town, and we will miss him, and we are looking for someone we can be friends with and play in a band together. Our catalog currently focuses on 70-77, with about 22 songs under our belts working to refine jams between songs and coming up with creative covers in the general genre. Our band more so interprets the music faithfully instead of assigning specific roles which we think can be confining – think of Phil & Friends and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. The goal is to have fun and be proud of the music we are keeping alive! We are currently holding jams on 3/10/22 and the week afterwards.
