Bassist Looking for Musicians

I'm looking for other musicians in the Chester County area who would like to jam, have fun, and collaborate on some music. I have over 10 years of experience playing bass and like all kinds of music. I'd like to find some other people to practice/jam with on a regular basis - something like once a week. This could just be for fun or it could lead to playing gigs every now and then. I find that playing with other people is a great way to become a better player and perform styles of music I wouldn't explore otherwise. I am not looking to make this a professional gig - I already have a job and just like to play bass in my free time. The occasional bar/restaurant/party/festival gig would be fine (but not required). Additional info: * I'm looking to practice together 2-4 times per month, likely weeknight evenings * I like all styles of music and would be interested in covers, original songs, or a mix of both. Free-form jam sessions would also be welcome. * I'm in my late 40s but I have no problems playing with people older/younger than that. * I have reliable gear and transportation but I'd rather not drive more than 30 minutes to practice * I don't want to deal with big egos, unreliable people, or the clinically insane. If you're one (or more!) of those types, please don't reply. I don't have space to practice at my house currently but might in the near future.
