Greetings I am looking forming a band that will be dedicated to uplifting people spiritually, mentally, and physically. Looking for serious musicians looking to make music full time. The goal is to build a band that has longevity. I have a specific plan. This band will be the main band for The Church I have founded called The Ark of The Overcomers Church and Trust (T.A.O). The church is dedicated to inspiring people to overcome anything from addictions to depression to natural disasters. We will perform at revivals starting locally but eventually we will tour to battle the opioid crisis, alcoholism, and storms areas after natural disasters. The first revival is being plan for April 22nd here in Baltimore, so I am hoping to start rehearsal as soon as possible. We will practice two to three time a week to build the initial 7 to 10 song set. We won't be paid for rehearsals, but members will be paid for each revival. The style of music is called message music that is a blend of soul, funk, jazz, rock ability, and dub reggae. Some songs will just be extended grooves with spoken word preaching/teaching.
