You are invited to take part in a research study sponsored by SafKan Health. SafKan Health has developed a new ear cleaning device, the OtoSet – Ear Cleaning System. The FDA has cleared the Otoset to remove earwax automatically and with no mess more easily and effectively than prior treatments. The purpose of this study is to assess possible design changes that would make the system more comfortable and better fit more people. We are not assessing clinical benefit in this study, but in order to assess the design, we will need to run the system in a way that is similar to a treatment cycle. The complete study participation is one appointment of approximately one hour. This study is not intended to provide you with any clinical benefit. We will have our trained technician examine your ear briefly to ensure it is safe for you to receive the treatment cycles, but benefit from the treatment is not guaranteed and your earwax impaction is not a factor in whether you can take part in this study. Participants will be compensated $75 for their time and travel. If you are interested, please respond with your contact information.
