Abstract Art Classes for seniors with cognitive challenges

Lutheran Community Services is offering a FREE in person weekly, abstract art class for seniors with dementia, traumatic brain injuries and other cognitive challenges at Mountain View Community Center in Edgewood, beginning March 23 for 4 weeks. We have been conducting these classes online for over a year. They are called Opening Minds though Art. This will be one of our first community events, open to the public. This is a great way for your loved one or friend to utilize the capacities they still have, created memories, and beautiful artwork. All artwork is matted and at the end of the 4 week class we will have an art show. Please contact Lutheran Community Dementia Services to sign up as spaces are limited. Please see details on flyer.
