Description

Binge eating disorder is marked by frequent episodes of eating large amounts of food followed by a feeling of shame or distress. Although binge eating disorder is the most common eating disorder in the U.S., affecting approximately 2.8 million people in the United States, it often goes undiagnosed. If you have been diagnosed with binge eating disorder or think you may have this condition, we'd like to tell you about a clinical research study evaluating an investigational treatment. To pre-qualify for this study, you must: - Be 18 to 65 years of age - Have had Binge Eating Disorder symptoms for at least 6 months prior to this study All study-related visits, tests, and study drugs will be provided at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related travel may be provided. Qualified participants may be compensated up to $1,000.
