Sealcoating is a protective coating that extends the life of asphalt driveways and parking lots. We apply sealer by mostly brush on residential driveways and combination of brush and spray on commercial parking lots. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals to join our team full time. We also provide paid time off! Job Responsibilities: Follow proper operating procedures with all equipment Understand and execute the sealcoating process while following instructions to meet standards of each project. Sealcoating process: Efficiently clean the asphalt surface with hand tools and power tools Safely fill cracks with bander machines that dispense hot rubberized tar. This material is extremely hot and MUST be handled the utmost attention and care Use permanent patch material to fill potholes and make minor asphalt repairs Apply sealer both by brush and spray methods in a controlled and clean manner Inspect, clean, maintain tools or equipment throughout the day and after each shift Maintain constant alertness to the multiple activities on each job site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment. Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground Display a professional and courteous attitude at all times Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work everyday required Ability to stand for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform key duties Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds alone and up to 150 pounds with assistance Must pass a drug test Excellent communication skills with team members and crew leader
