To learn more about our company please visit www.schmitt.com. We are currently seeking a Custodian for our multi-building campus. Previous custodial experience is required. Duties: • General cleaning of buildings (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, etc.) • Sweeping sidewalks, raking leaves, removing snow or performing other incidental seasonal tasks • Stock restrooms and employee common areas, placing orders for supplies as needed • Clean ceilings, polish light fixtures, wash blinds and windows • Report shortages, damages, or security issues • Drive a company vehicle to obtain materials, parts, equipment, etc., as needed • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Must possess a valid Driver's License • Ability to complete work required without supervision and remain motivated • Show professionalism along with speed and attention to detail • Must pass a background check Physical Demands: • Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, twists, and moves continually during working hours. • Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs Benefits: • Competitive salary between $21-$30/ hr (based on experience and qualifications) • Medical/Dental/Life insurance • 401K with a company match • Paid vacation and paid holidays • No evening or weekend hours • Exciting work environment • Positive atmosphere • Christmas Party and Christmas Bonus How to apply: E-mailed applications will be accepted although we prefer that applicants apply in person Monday-Friday 9 AM - 4 PM.
