Schatz Underground is currently hiring for multiple positions. These positions include Sod Crew, Operators, and a Shop Assistant. All positions must pass pre-hire drug screen and obtain DOT medical card. All positions have a 7am start time & work until the tasks for the day are done. Sod Crew- This job entails driving a company truck to each jobsite, laying sod, & watering it. A lot of overtime available. We are looking for quality applicants willing to learn & ready to get their hands dirty. All applicants must have a Class E license, and a clean driving record. Willing to train the right candidates. Operators- Open positions include Trencher Operator, Mini Excavator Operator, Vac Operator, Directional Drilling Operators, and Locators. We will train the right candidate but the ideal candidate would possess a Class A CDL. Shop Assistant- Shop/Mechanic Assistant position. Applicant must be versed in light maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment. Ideal candidate would be eager to learn and grow with this position shadowing our lead mechanic. Class E license is required with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL. This position is also responsible for upkeep & cleanliness of yard. We will train the right candidate.
