Nickolas Wildstar is the first candidate to announce their intentions to run for Governor of California. Recall efforts against current Governor Gavin Newsom continue to gain momentum as growing frustration against his extended shut down while he celebrates in 4 star restaurants. Wildstar seeks to address the concerns of Californias by easing government oversight and abuse of power. Wildstar has been an active political figure in California since 2018 when he ran for Governor as a Libertarian in one of the most contested gubernatorial races in recent history with over 30 candidates vying for the seat. As a third party candidate Nickolas connected with voters from both sides of the aisle. His campaign was especially popular with younger voters who have been disenfranchised by the two old parties. The over reliance on government authority and regulation has impacted rural and city business owners alike; pushing many families and businesses out of the state. Wildstar has been the only candidate to consistently and reliably support the small businesses that make up the heart of most communities. Meanwhile many Republican voters have become weary of the usual insider politicians who have been uninterested in taking on the Democrat stronghold.
