Description

They lived with the dinosaurs and now they live with us. Come hear about alligators and crocodiles. *All programs are led outside, but if 6 feet cannot be maintained while the program is conducted, masks are required by all participants. By signing up for this tour, you are adhering to wearing a mask while on the tour. *Programs will not be conducted if guidelines are not met by all participants and the guide has the right to terminate the tour if deemed unsafe. Is it an alligator or a crocodile? Learn about the Order Crocodilia, including crocodiles, gharial, alligators, and caimans. Learn how to identify families and local species in the refuge. Fun for all ages. Arrive at the Cross Dike Pavilion located on the Cross Dike Trail (entrance fee applies) by 1:20pm to check in and confirm your attendance. This tour is limited to 10 individuals. If you do not arrive by 1:20, your spot may be given to someone else. Please allow about 20 minutes to drive from the Visitor Center parking lot to the Cross-dike trail. Park on the right near the restrooms then walk about 100 yards along the Cross-dike trail to the pavilion.
