Discussion among local Free Methodist Pastors about deepening ties between the conference and SPU As many of you know, Seattle Pacific University (SPU) has been through some challenges during the past couple of years—not including the pandemic. Back in 1891, it was the PNW conference that established this wonderful school and has supported it through the decades. In more recent decades, the relationship between the conference and the school (it seems to me ... being new to the school and conference) has been more distant than was in the past. SPU remains a Free Methodist University and therefore this conference connection is vital. Thus, my hope for this gathering is to hear from the PNW conference church leaders about your hopes for the future of this partnership and connection.
