Description

Join BWIN as we reconnect our minds + bodies through gentle yoga, mindful movement and reflective dialogue. "When the root is deep, there is no reason to fear the wind" - African Proverb Join Black Women in Nature for our March hike on Sunday March 6, at Blendon Woods Metro Park from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm! Our time together will include gentle yoga, a mindful walk/hike, and reflective dialogue. Our roots establish our foundation, keep us grounded and remind us who we are when life feels out of control. As we prepare to navigate this last month of winter, let's check-in with ourselves and each other as we reflect on what it means to be rooted in nature. Layer up, invite a friend and meet us outside! We look forward to sharing space with you and learning from your self-inquiry :) Donations for this event support efforts for Black Women in Nature to continue offering accessible, affordable wellness practices for Black Women. Donations from participants, allies and advocates can be sent to Cashapp $BlackWomenInNature .
