Peace Camp helps kids develop peace making skills that they can use now and throughout life. Hosted by several faith communities.
At our 8th annual Peace Camp Boulder County kids will develop peace making skills that they can use now and throughout life. It's a collaborative camp hosted by a number of faith communities and uses stories of faith and other wisdom sources to explore themes of peace making. Kids will play and craft their way to a better world. This summer Peace Camp will again be based entirely outdoors! To provide a healthy environment, we will create a culture of caring that will include COVID conscious practices as directed by the Boulder County Department of Public Health.
Camp is for kids preschool (age 4) to 8th grade. Middle school youth are primarily helpers for younger campers with some group time set aside for them to explore the daily peacemaker theme as a middle school team.
Eventbrite listings can be confusing for multi-day camps. Camp runs from 9:00-Noon Monday-Friday, June 13-17. Everyone may bring their own water bottle and a personal snack for the morning.
Registration closes June 1 or when capacity is reached.
The camp is partially led by volunteers but all staff and volunteers are background checked and trained for child safety.
