FANCY HATS & MINT JULEPS & OPEN BAR & HORS D’OEUVRES The Kentucky Derby gallops into the Adirondacks with a festive celebration hosted by the Holderied Family to benefit the Educational Opportunity Fund for the Lake Placid School District. Night at the Races, a ticketed fundraiser is set for 5:30 to 8:30 pm on May 7, and will feature a mint juleps, open bar, and delicious hors d'oeuvres. Derby attire is encouraged! In addition, the Educational Opportunity Fund fundraiser will include a silent auction featuring a variety of items from throughout the Tri-Lakes. The mission of the Educational Opportunity Fund for the Lake Placid Central School District is to advance educational opportunities to facilitate the enhancement of the learning and life chances of Lake Placid Central School District children.
