Eric Gales Band - Rives on the Road Opening Party Ages 21+ Eric Gales Lonesome River Band Eric Gales Band will play the Rives on the Road Opening Party on Sat., March 19th at New College Institute! Join us for the 2022 Rives on the Road Opening Party, featuring the Eric Gales Band + opener the TC Carter Band! The opening party will take place at the New College Institute. All attendees will receive free catered dinner and open bar. If you buy the season pass ($125) , you get free entry to this show plus free entry to five more concerts in 2022. Tickets for just the Eric Gales concert ($50) will go on sale about a week before the concert and include catered dinner and open bar but will not include the season pass to the 5 other shows in 2022. All Rives on the Road concerts will take place at various venues in Martinsville-Henry County. Two of the six shows are already announced. The opening party will feature Eric Gales Band and the TC Carter Band on Sat., March 19 at the New College Institute (NCI). All attendees of the opening party will receive complimentary open bar and catered dinner at the show. On Friday, April 1st, we will host The Lonesome River Band at NCI. Five more season pass concerts will be added in 2022. ABOUT ERIC GALES: Eric Gales is a blues firebrand. Over 30 years and 18 albums, his passion for the music and his boundless desire to keep it vital has never waned, even when his own light dimmed due to his substance struggles. Throughout it all, he continued to reinvigorate the art form with personal revelation in his lyrics and bold stylistic twists in his guitar playing and songwriting. ABOUT TC CARTER BAND: From the time he was four years old, in the hills of Patrick County, VA, rhythm, blues, and a whole lot of soul has been running through lead guitarist, TC Carter's veins. With the help of his mother, Della Carter, he would become a child prodigy in rhythm and blues on the lead guitar. Coming from a long line of musicians before his time, TC Carter was born to play the guitar. Throughout the years, people of all ages have been moved by the musical style of TC Carter. His music not only feeds the soul, but takes you to a mental headspace of good vibes and a hunger for the art of music. Over the course of 20 years, his craft continues to touch lives and astonish people of all different walks of life. Recently, Carter made the leap of faith to start a blues band. He called on his cousin who is more like a brother Antwan Glenn, long-time best friend Brandon Penn, and even convinced his wife Chelsey Carter to help pull this act together.
