Wanted! friendly, knowledgeable and helpful person for our Garden Center. Multi-tasking skills and Customer Service is a must. You will help customers, merchandise and care for plants and dry goods. If people, flowers, shrubs and all things gardening is your passion...we can help! You must be able to lift 50lbs. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position and summer months may require working weekends. Responsibilities include watering, assisting customers, caring for flowers, trees and shrubs and unloading incoming freight and stocking and maintaining seasonal products. Qualifications/Skills: * Strong plant knowledge is prefered * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Exceptional customer service skills * Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and work with the public and employees * Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time, lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions * Weekends are required * Care and maintenance of plant stock * Unloading and displaying/storing of merchandise * Maintaining the appearance of the grounds and seasonal area.
