Founders of Color Showcase 2022, 3rd annual Join us and other like-minded funds, angel groups, and other investors/entities with an investment thesis that includes investing in scalable impact companies led by founders of color. This is the 3rd annual showcase on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 5-7 pm in Atlantic City, NJ, in-person and live streamed. Our co-hosts band together every year for our collective mission: Stella & Fundr leading in 2022 alongside Next Wave Impact, Kachuwa Impact Fund, Beta Boom, the Angel Capital Association, Mission Driven Finance, Women 2.0, and Founders First Capital Partners. Five to seven finalists will present their companies and all semi-finalists will be highlighted in the showcase program. We are looking for impact-driven diverse entrepreneurs and like-minded company champions, partners, sponsors, and investors that share our investment thesis of investing in underrepresented entrepreneurs. Objectives of 2022 Founders of Color Showcase: **Mobilize investment into founders of color by showcasing their firms to investors and syndicating investments **Democratize access to this asset class through the creation of special-purpose vehicles (SPVs) for accredited investors who are investing smaller amounts ($5K-$50K) **Continue to grow the network of investors and create new syndication partnerships with investors who share our investment thesis of investing in founders of color **Create more visibility for founders of color, as well as funders and partners, especially those that are led by people of color **Streamline the showcase by having both founders apply for funding opportunities and investor nominate deserving founders. Investor-Champions bring vetted and initially funded opportunities & Entrepreneurs who have secured a minimum of $25k in funding (soft commitments ok) and light due diligence with the support of Investor-Champions
