The Village of Park Forest is creating its new Downtown Master Plan and we need your help! The Village of Park Forest is creating its new Downtown Master Plan and we need your help! A DownTown Master Plan is a blueprint for the future with a focus on Park Forest’s DownTown commercial center. It is created by the community and will result in a set of policies and programs that direct future growth and development for Park Forest and its Downtown. We are hosting a Downtown Visioning Workshop on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Dining On The Green for ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS. The Visioning Workshop is an opportunity for the whole community to get involved. The purpose of the workshop is to allow residents and stakeholders to tell us what they think, before plans and recommendations are crafted. The workshop will: (a) review the purpose of the Master Plan, the planning process, and the schedule for the project; and (b) complete an interactive exercise to hear residents issues, opportunities, and vision for the future of the DownTown. Please join us on Wednesday, March 16th to share your thoughts and meet your Downtown Planning Action Committee and the consultants from Housal Lavigne.
