Hi! Looking to find a great home for this little dude. We found Dude as a stray but had no luck finding his original owner. Also checked for but found no microchip. It seems like he might not have been in a good situation as he gets spooked easily. He is a sweet, sweet boy who would do best in a quiet home with someone who has lots of love and time to give to help him build his confidence. He gets excited when he sees women but is more suspicious of men. My husband and I are trying to avoid a shelter as I think it would completely stress him out and would be tough for him to show his gentle and fun personality. He sleeps in his kennel at night but will whine if he sees you. No potty accidents in the house! He had one accident in his kennel when we drove to the vet. This guy is as healthy as a (very, very small) horse! He weighs 19.5 lbs now and I expect him to weigh no more than 25lbs once he gets to a healthy weight. He was dirty when found but has no fleas and tested negative for heartworms. He is started on flea and heartworm prevention. Dude is probably 1-1.5 years old based on his pearly white teeth! Not yet neutered but would be happy to contribute to that for the right family. He gets more spunky every day! Our pitbull tries to play with him but he’s just not sure how yet. No aggression and he loves to snuggle on the couch once he feels comfortable. Message me if you have any questions!
