While learning how to keep orchids healthy and blooming, MDOC will dive deep into the history behind the variety of rare species of orchids. Masterclass Breakdown Grooming Stations: Learn the different tools needed to provide proper orchid care and how to safely use them as to not harm the plant. Plant check-in: Examine the different orchids and determine their needs based on current location, species, and basic plant health. Grooming: Properly groom orchids for happier plant health and blooms. Plantscaping: Location is so important for an orchid's health. Learn some creative ways to mimic the plant's natural enviornment. Refreshments: During the workshop, soft beverages and snacks will be available. We do recommend you eat a small lunch before arriving so that you aren't rushing out to get food or hangry during the event.
