Join us IN-PERSON for our program Girl Talk 2 Presented by the Poe Center, Girl Talk 2 is a unique workshop designed for middle school-aged girls and their parents. This interactive, 1.5 hour workshop discusses the growth and development girls experience during puberty, the structure and function of the male and female reproductive systems, the menstrual cycle, fertilization and conception. Internet safety and peer pressure are also discussed The program has been designed with activities that facilitate and encourage open parent-child communication.
