Understanding the formerly incarcerated experience: a Reentry Simulation presented by Raleigh-based IPMW! TEDxNCState is hosting the nonprofit organization, Interfaith Prison Ministry for Women (IPMW), who will present their hallmark Reentry Simulation. This engaging, educational, and dynamic activity allows participants to adopt the role of a justice-involved individual to gain perspective on the complex transition from prison back into the community. Coupled with discussion groups, a lunch break, and a panel of diverse experiences with addiction and incarceration, this is sure to be a meaningful Saturday morning. Applicable to all students, and those with an interest in social justice will find this especially valuable. Please come join us as we build empathy, awareness, and understanding in our participants, comprised of mainly NC State students. Lunch is included! Normal ticket price is $20/ticket.
