You’re not a very efficient shopper. That’s okay. It gave me so many opportunities to more than notice you. Our eye contact fleeting but, undeniable. At the butcher. In the dairy aisle. In the bakery. In produce on my way out. Did you know my gaze would linger after you turned your head? Lingering on your very perfect posture, your sparkling eyes, your clothes- dusty pink pants and gauzy, white top- which were clearly and thoughtfully chosen to show just how well you take care of yourself.
