Hello All, OBI Seafood is hosting a hiring event on March tenth, Starting at 10 am at the Pima County One-Stop. We will be Have a brief presentation and discuss why you should work for us in Alaska this summer, processing freshly caught Wild Alaskan Salmon. I am looking for people interested in a short-term contract that are adventurous, punctual, and have a pleasant disposition. Here is what you can expect from us: We cover flights from Phoenix to our location, room & board, and weekly laundry service. The Contract begins mid-June and ends in late July early August. Shifts are 16 hours a day, 7 days a week with breaks every three hours and meal breaks every 6 hours. We offer coffee, tea, juice, and cookies at breaks and hot meals with multiple food options at mealtimes. Payroll is twice a month and the average hours worked over a week is about 100 hours. Our base pay this season is 15.85 for the first forty hours, Overtime is 23.78 equaling about 2060.80 a week during peak production. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to save money without paying daily living expenses. Here is what we expect from you: You must pass a background check, have proper identification to fly, and clear E-Verification. You will also need to stand for your shift and lift 25 pounds. Seafood production requires handling fish. If you have allergies or issues touching fish, please do not apply. It is also important to note while working for OBI Seafoods, We are like a small community. We do not tolerate bullying, sexual harassment, or disruptive behavior in the galley or bunkhouse!
