Join this support group for owners of "reactive" dogs at Pet Resource Center of Kansas City. We are here for you! This discussion group exists to provide moral support and positive reinforcement ideas for dog parents of fearful or reactive dogs or similar issues. Living with a fearful or reactive dog can be stressful, and here we strive to emphasize not just how to care for your dog, but how you can make caring for a difficult dog a little easier for you. It’s also a place to share both victories and struggles. We invite you to gather here at our clinic on the last Saturday of each month to get and give support. The group facilitator will lead the discussion and provide talking points and handouts with tips and resources. The group is hosted by PRCKC volunteer Cathy Nash-Petersen, a trained support group facilitator and owner of a dog with special behavioral needs. NOTE: This group is for people only. This is not a dog training group and dogs are not permitted to attend.
