Workshop and Mini -Expo! There is no doubt that hiring the right candidate is challenging. A recent survey found that manufacturers are having trouble filling 46% of open positions due to a mismatch in skills. In Arizona, there has been a 6.1 % increase in the manufacturing workforce since 2020. Where are companies supposed to find the employees they need? In an effort to support our manufacturers, the Arizona Manufacturing Extension Partnership (AZ MEP) has joined with multiple organizations across Maricopa County to help employers find the right employees. Please join us, along with our guest speakers and local resources to discuss: • Apprenticeships • Veteran Employment • Felon Friendly Options • Community College Certificate Programs • University Engineering Schools/Programs • Young Adult Opportunities (Ages 18-24) Meet one-on-one with local resources to see explore ways they may be able to help you find the talent you are looking for.
