Come celebrate the beginning of hummingbird migration season with a visit to the Arboretum! The month of March brings wild hummingbird activity as the migrating Allen’s hummers join with the resident Anna’s in dazzling displays all over the Arboretum. Saturday, March 19th is Hummingbird Day -- a morning of bird walks, photography tips, and even a couple of activities for kids. Doors open on the 19th at 7 am. Admission is $10 adults, $8 seniors 65+, $5 youth 6-17, and free to members, volunteers, UCSC students, and children under 6. There is no charge for parking in our visitor lot. Please note that dogs are not allowed on campus, including the Arboretum. Help protect our rare plant collections by staying on paths, supervising children, and leaving pets at home.
