Join Metro Phoenix EcoFlora and artist Linda Arandas to embroider your very own Arizona wildflower patch! Linda Arandas is a mixed media artist with a special interest in fiber arts. She will be sharing her tips and techniques used to embroider a variety of Arizona wildflowers. No experience is necessary and supplies will be provided. Let your creativity bloom as you learn a new skill and create your own beautiful work of art! Check out Linda's art at https://instagram.com/linda_arandas. This class will be held in Webster Center at Desert Botanical Garden (See image below). Venue map can be found here, Webster Center is #4. Accessibility: Webster Center has an accessibility ramp and water, bathrooms and food are available nearby. This event has limited attendance. We will follow Desert Botanical Garden guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing. This session coordinates with the March EcoQuest for the Metro Phoenix EcoFlora. This month, we're observing wildflowers and comparing what we find to last year's observations. This can help us understand more about wildflower phenology and the impacts of climate change.
