This class is for the student that has had some experience with bowl turning. The "Introduction to Turning" class is recommended as a prerequisite. Because of the nature of turning a large, flatter surface the student will learn additional methods of securing and chucking your piece as you go through the turning process. All materials are included. Students have the option of providing your own safety glasses and hearing protection, otherwise it will be provided. A safety face shield is also recommended.
