Lowlands Clan, Scotch Ale | Whiskey Barrel Aged Deep, dark and distinctive, Lowlands Clan is named after the brewing region of Scotland. With a restrained use of peated malt and a robust barley profile, this beer has all the maltiness one yearns for. Extensive barrel aging coaxes an oak complexity while a distinct Whiskey depth of flavor plays off of a sturdy and savory malt tidal wave and finishes with a kiss of chocolate. This year's vintage is a blend of Stranahan's and Buffalo Trace Whiskey barrels, aged over 12 months. Fun fact: this is Cameron's, our head brewer, favorite beer!
