Receiver / Delivery Driver Position

Our family owned and operated food production company is seeking a Receiver to support back of house functions. A Receiver will assist with packaging and organizing fresh product in the freezer and coolers, help prepare outgoing delivery orders by pulling product, and receive incoming deliveries. A Receiver may also regularly assist with deliveries to local customers. Receiver Position 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday through Friday $17.00 - $19.00 per hour DOE Job Description • Prepare outgoing orders by picking product and assembling pallets • Receive product by unloading trucks, checking invoices, and sorting and stocking product • Assist with transitioning product and carts from the production floor, to freezers, to final packaging • Reorganize product in freezer, coolers, and carts • Assist with physical inventory cycle counts as needed • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping freezer and coolers organized and maintaining a clean shipping area • Maintain quality and accuracy by following organization standards and best practices • Safely and efficiently load and unload product from vans and box trucks • Learn and use route planning and optimization • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors Qualifications and Skills • Ability to lift at least 50lbs • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/priorities • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, box cutter, etc) • Legible handwriting/printing • Must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment or independently as needed • Able to work brief periods of time in freezer/cooler • Valid State Driver’s License Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour DOE Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off
