Local Tugboat company looks to hire experienced people for position as Deckhand, OS, AB, and Mate aboard Puget Sound fleet. Also entry level positions available. Schedule is very demanding. Gone on 2-7 day trips at a time. We also have some on call work with a fluctuating schedule. Looking to fill a position based out of Steillacoom WA right now although our base is in Port Hadlock WA. We need to hire deckhands within daily commute distance of Steillacoom. All positions begin in our Company tugboat repair yard doing general labor and work toward opportunity for a position as a vessel crew member. Must clear background check, no DUI or anything above a misdemeanor. Tobacco free company. Must have proof of vaccination. Position includes medical insurance option. Company pays 95% of coverage. Experience with electrical, welding, fabrication, carpentry, diesel mechanic, painting is very valuable at this company as we do all our own maintenance.
