Advanced Balayage (HANDS ON) Are you ready to take your dimensional coloring to the next level? Join Amy in this in depth, interactive hands-on class as she shares her advanced placements and techniques to create her signature, bold and dimensional looks. Whether you’re a cosmetology student or a seasoned stylist who is looking to up their painting game.....this class is for you! In this class we will talk about: 1. Product choice and consistency 2. Tool choices (the when’s and why’s) 3. Tension and elevation and why they matter 4. Sectioning and advanced placements for maximum depth and contrast 5. How to get a good blend 6. How to avoid spots 7. Body positioning 8. How to create max brightness without overpainting 9. How to create max brightness around the face 10. How to create perfect ponytail details 11. How to create a seamless money piece 12. Smart placement for bold ribbons 13. Social media/photo help 14. Q and A section at the end of class This is a HANDS-ON class. Amy will provide the lightener/developer needed for the hands-on portion. Students are responsible for bringing: - Mannequin head - Mannequin stand (Clip stands are not recommended) - Color Bowl - Saran Wrap - Clips/combs - Gloves - Their own apron if they choose to wear one - Notebook/pen - A smile and an open mind! Amy's classes are very easy-going but also super interactive. Questions and connection are strongly encouraged, as she is relentless in making sure everyone is on the same page and that there aren’t any burning questions left unanswered before everyone leaves for the day.  Amy's main goal as an educator is to equip the stylist to have enough confidence that they won’t be hesitant to try what they’ve learned!!  Her approach of teaching on a mannequin allows her to be very detailed and fully present when she teaches, taking her time being very detailed and answering questions section by section, giving her students her undivided and un-rushed attention.
