Allegan Forest 4x4 trail ride for women only. This is an off-road vehicle trail ride through the Allegan Forest / State Game Area, to support our annual toy drive. This ride is in Allegan County, Southwest Michigan. Please pack for the weather, bring a lunch, water and snacks. Please note: The trail will have some tight areas exposing potential for scratches from branches. Please keep in mind if it has rained, we will have mud and if it has not, we will have dust. We will meet at Meijer in Plainwell on the far west side of the parking lot. You will see the pictured jeep and a few more. Please top off your gas tanks and be in the parking lot before 11 am. We will leave promptly at 11:15 am after a Drivers Meeting. We will provide the lead vehicle, one or two centered vehicles and the tail gunner, who watches for everyone! We will be using channel 18 on GMRS radios. Upon leaving Plainwell, we will travel west via paved roads to the Allegan Forest for approximately 25 minutes. Allegan Forest will have dirt roads, seasonal roads, wide open fields, tree lined trails, the Kalamazoo River and more. It truly is a great area to go off road! We will take a lunch break at Ely Campground. At the end of the ride, approximately 2 pm, we will lead the group back to Meijer in Plainwell.
