RAM Communications Makes Moving Simple for TLC Ingredients

DES PLAINES, Illinois (December 18, 2020) — In 2009, TLC Ingredients turned to RAM Communications to buy and install its new telecommunications infrastructure. Moving is a stressful process for any business. Unlike a residential move, businesses cannot just take a few days off. Operations must continue throughout. TLC Ingredients moved from Joliet, Illinois to its brand-new offices and logistics facilities in nearby Crest Hill. During the move, TLC Ingredients needed a general telecommunications contractor. The company asked RAM Communications to serve in that role. RAM Communications’ solicited bids for the TLC Ingredients phone system, cabling, and security system. The telecommunications team also coordinated the move for phone services. Lastly, RAM Communications designed and tested the new internet services for TLC Ingredients. The vendors were primarily concerned about installing their respective services at TLC Ingredients’ new facility. However, RAM Communications persisted, and the utility companies relented. The lines were installed and tested at the “11th hour”. RAM Communications periodically audited the new facility to ensure proper installation. Despite the size and complexity of the move, RAM Communications finished within budget. There were minimal issues throughout the installation. Because of this effort, TLC Ingredients saved more than fifty hours in project management, travel time, and human resources by using RAM Communications.
