LOWELL, MA — A 4-year-old girl was killed in a massive triple-decker home Thursday night. Officials confirmed the girl's body was found. Other people, including children, were rescued from the burning building on Maude Street. The fire department responded to the blaze in the afternoon and started to rescue people from the top floors. The flames burned for hours. One person was brought to the hospital for treatment, while several others were treated at the scene. About 10 residents were displaced, officials said. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
