Here are the top 3 stories today in Buffalo: A Buffalo resident is launching a new initiative to help care for newly planted trees on Hertel Avenue. The City of Buffalo planted the trees last fall at the request of community members, but Sean Brodfueher says "they need a little bit of extra attention" due to the urban environment. Brodfueher hopes locals will support the maintenance of the young plants by volunteering to "adopt a tree" and water it regularly.
