The City of Buffalo planted the trees last fall at the request of community members, but Sean Brodfueher says "they need a little bit of extra attention" due to the urban environment. Brodfueher hopes locals will support the maintenance of the young plants by volunteering to "adopt a tree" and water it regularly.
