Here are the top three stories in Norfolk today: Norfolk Public Schools announced a proposal to increase teachers' pay on Thursday. The raises were part of the district's proposed budget. Starting pay for an educator with a bachelor's degree would be $51,000 a year with the minimum wage being $12 an hour across the district. (13newsnow.com WVEC)The Norfolk Police Department is currently searching for 23-year-old Ethan Sabatini, after he went missing on Wednesday night. According to the department, Sabatini was last seen in the 600 block of Grantham Road. Anyone with information related to the missing man is being directed to call the department. (WAVY.com)James P. Schilo was pronounced dead after being hit by a car on E. Little Creek Road on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at the 1700 block of E. Little Creek Road. Detectives with the Norfolk Police Department have arrested David A. Parker, 52, without bond in connection with the hit-and-run fatality.
