Press release from City School District of Albany: March 3, 2022 On Saturday, Neel Chittur will compete in the 3200m race at the 2022 New York State Indoor Track Championship meet in Staten Island. Chittur, a junior, ran a 9:48.28 3200m at the Section 2 state qualifier at Hudson Valley Community College in early February but his personal best for the 2022 indoor season is 9:39.64, a new Albany High School record! The previous boys' 3200m record was set in 1982 by Alfie Woodard. Chittur looks to better his personal best this weekend.
