GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police announced that a fight at Marley Middle School led to a confrontation between families on Feb. 24. Officers said they charged one of the adults involved.
Authorities said they heard about the fight between juvenile students around 1 p.m. Officials called the students' guardians.
Police said a man then started arguing with the other family in the school parking lot. Officers accused him of pulling a wooden handle out from his car. Authorities compared the handle to the base of a hammer or an ax without its head attached.
The man did not swing the handle at anybody.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department did not identify the suspect.
