Adopt Jack! Shelter dog waiting since July 9th

Events

Jacksonville Beach FL

Description

Jack has the sad distinction of being the dog who has waited the longest for a home at the city shelter at 2020 Forest Street in Jacksonville. July 9th was a long time ago. When Jack first came in he hoped to be chosen quickly for a home. But as days turned to weeks, then months he began to lose hope. When you are a middle aged, bigger black dog it is easy to get lost in the crowd. He’s still waiting… and hoping. Could you be his person? He is available for foster, sleepovers and, of course, adoption. He doesn’t show his best self in his kennel. Could you please go to the shelter and ask fir them to bring him out to meet you? He is basically a free adoption. You only pay the $20 licensing fee. The shelter is open Tuesday to Friday from noon to 7 and Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 6. I am a volunteer, trying to save lives.
