BALTIMORE, MD — A Maryland man was sentenced Monday to life in prison for the 2018 murder of his wife and a subsequent attempt to cover it up. Keith Smith, 55, was given the maximum sentence of life in prison for the murder of his wife, plus three years for a deadly weapon with intent to injure.
