The Parks and Grounds and Stormwater Divisions are now accepting applications for the position of Temporary Laborer. Duties for the Parks and Gounds divisions include mowing, ballfield preparation, flowerbed maintenance and assisting with leaf collection. Duties for the Stormwater divison includes Stormwater maintenance, mowing and assisting the Utilities Division when needed. Both division requires the ability to perform temporary manual labor for extended periods in all weather conditions. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions; ability to perform heavy manual labor; lifting and moving of heavy objects. Minimum Qualifications parks and grounds: Valid Driver’s License Must have High School Diploma Horticultural experience preferred (landscaping, mowing, etc.) Minimum / Preferred Qualifications Stormwater Division: High School diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Commercial Mowing Experience Semi-skilled manual work in construction Salary: $17.21 hourly *COVID-19 vaccination required in order to qualify for this position.
