Here are the top stories in Boulder today: Louisville is to going to allow residents to opt out of green code. The City Council in Louisville unanimously voted to direct city staff to create a plan that will allow fire victims rebuild to the 2018 standards instead of the more stringent 2021 code. The new code included a raft of environmental-friendly requirements that reduced the carbon footprint, but adds significant costs to the construction. Tenants at the Bell Flatirons apartments have been dealing with an unresponsive management company after their apartment was damaged from the smoke from the Marshall Fire.
