Diver/Hull cleaner Full-time, Part-time $1.00 - $1.20/ft; averaging $35-$75/hour We are a fast-growing hull cleaning company based in Sarasota-Manatee area looking to hire 2 scuba divers and 1 lead diver. Must be reliable, professional, independent, self-motivated and a hard worker. Honesty, communication, knowledge of boats, and attention to detail is very important. The right person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, care, and aesthetics of our clients’ yachts from the waterline down. Duties will include: • Hull cleaning (removal of growth including barnacles, grass, oysters, etc.) • Writing dive reports • Lead diver only: Removal and installation of propellers and zincs, anode replacement, in-water diver surveys and inspections, and various other tasks as needed You will need to have the following credentials/skills: • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Diving Certification (PADI, NAUI, ACDE, etc) • Your own diving gear (Regulator, Fins, Mask, Snorkel, Wet Suit, Tanks) • Able to work without supervision • Willing to travel between marinas and residences • Able to work in low or no visibility water conditions This job is a lot of fun for the right candidate. We provide the first set of tools. Willing to train, it takes 4-6 weeks.
