We are The Bike Company (BikeCo.com). We are a high-end mountain bike retailer that specializes in the sale and servicing of top-quality mountain bikes and parts. We are looking to add a Sales Associate to our small inside sales team, and are seeking out a driven, well-spoken individual with a passion for mountain bikes, customer service, and sales to join us at our headquarters in Lake Forest CA. Responsibilities: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customersProspect and contact potential customersReach agreed upon sales targets by the deadlineResolve customer inquiries and complaintsSet follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developmentsCreate sales material to present to customersUpdate company’s social media postsProvide a high level of customer service ​ Required Qualifications: 3+ years customer service or sales experience Ability to build rapport with clientsDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to Multi-taskBasic understanding of general sales and marketing principlesExcellent communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to tailor communications to fit various audiences and technical levels Familiarity with CRM platforms Ability to work on a small team in a dynamic settingExcellent problem solving and relationship management skillsBasic understanding of mountain biking /cycling cultureWillingness to learn and adapt to a quickly growing and changing work environment Preferred Qualifications: Mountain Biking, Cycling or outdoor industry experienceExperience with basic bicycle maintenanceExperience with Google Drive and Google DocsExperience with social media and connected appsExperience with Microsoft Excel
